Getting started

How do I create an account?
Open Torneoz, tap Get Started and fill in your name, email, phone and a password. Date of birth is optional.

I forgot my password.
On the Sign In screen tap Forgot Password. We email you a 6 digit code. Enter it with your new password. The code lasts 30 minutes.

Organisers

How do I create a tournament?
On Home tap Create Tournament (also on My Torneoz). Add a title, dates, last entry date, number of teams, squad size, venue, city, contact and format (league, knockout or groups then knockout). You can add a poster, prizes and an age range. Your tournament goes live when you save it.

How do I accept teams?
Open your tournament and tap Registration Requests. Accept or reject each team. The team manager is notified.

Can I enter my own team?
Yes. Open your tournament and tap Register Team while entries are open. Your own team goes straight in.

How do I set groups?
For a groups then knockout tournament, open the tournament once teams are accepted and tap Set groups. Choose 2 to 8 groups, then tap a group letter for each team or tap Split evenly. Tap Save groups. Each group needs at least 2 teams.

How do I make the fixtures?
Open the tournament and tap Generate fixtures. Torneoz builds the full schedule for your format, including the knockout bracket and a third place play-off where it applies. Fixtures are published to every team. You can also add a single fixture by hand with Add fixture.

I made a mistake. Can I start the fixtures again?
Yes, as long as no results have been recorded. Open Fixtures and tap Reset fixtures. This deletes every fixture so you can change the groups or teams and generate again. Once a result is in, edit single fixtures instead.

How do I enter a result?
Open Fixtures, pick the match and enter the score. You can add goalscorers, assists, own goals and cards for each player. Tables and brackets update straight away.

Team managers

How do I create a team?
Go to My Torneoz and tap Create Team, or tap + New Team on My Teams. Add a name and an optional logo.

How do I invite players?
Open your team and tap + Invite player. Type at least 3 letters of their name, their full email address or their full phone number. The player gets an invite and joins your team sheet when they accept. You can also invite from Pick Squad. Players need a Torneoz account to be invited.

How do I register my team for a tournament?
On Home tap Find Tournaments, open the tournament and tap Register Team. Choose your team. The organiser accepts or rejects your request and you get a notification.

How do I pick my squad?
Once your team is accepted, open the tournament and tap Pick Squad and choose players from your team sheet.

Players

How do I join a team?
Create an account, then ask the team manager to invite you. Tap the bell at the top of the Home screen to open your Inbox and accept the invite.

Where are my stats?
Me tab > My Stats shows matches played, goals and teams played for.

Notifications

How do I get notifications on my phone?
Torneoz asks to send notifications after you sign in. Tap Allow to get alerts for entries, fixtures, results and invites. If you tapped Don't Allow, turn them on in your iPhone's Settings > Notifications > Torneoz.

How do I change which alerts I get?
Me tab > Notification Settings. Turn each type of alert on or off. Your choices apply on every phone you are signed in on.

I am not getting notifications.
Check notifications are allowed for Torneoz in your iPhone's Settings and that the alert type is on in Me tab > Notification Settings. Log out and back in to register your phone again. You never get a notification for something you did yourself.

Your account

How do I delete my account?
Me tab > Edit Profile > Delete account, then confirm. Your personal details are removed straight away and you are logged out. Results you were part of stay in tournament records as "Deleted user". Teams you manage stay for their players. If you cannot get into the app, email info@torneoz.co.uk from the address on your account.

How do I change my email or phone number?
Me tab > Edit Profile.

Report a problem or content

How do I report something?
Tap Report at the top of any Tournament Details or Team Profile screen, or open someone's profile and tap Report user. Pick a reason and tap Send report. You can also email info@torneoz.co.uk with the tournament, team or user name. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks our terms.

How do I block someone?
Open their profile and tap Block user. They can no longer find you in player search, add you to a team or send you invites or suggestions. Unblock them in Me tab > Blocked Users.
